Shaka Blonde

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi partnered with two local breweries, Lazy Beach Brewing & Café and Lorelei Brewing Company to release beer labels in honor of the university’s 75th anniversary. I got the opportunity to work with Lorelei, a majestic brewery with an appreciation for mermaids. The Shaka Blonde can design features a “mer-dude,” designed in general manager and Islander alumn’s likeness complete with his Islanders baseball jersey to honor his time playing for the university.
